About

Meandering Marcus…

Born and raised in and near the big german port city Hamburg, my university years brought me to Bayreuth, Erlangen, and Regensburg (all in Bavaria). After that I settled for a job in the former capital city Bonn, nicely located near the river Rhine. Working here now for over fifteen years, this is the longest stretch of time I’ve ever lived in a single town or city. And even though my office moves to the neighbouring city of Cologne end of this year, I’ll keep my flat in Bonn. Well, at least until I win big in the lottery and move to New Zealand 🙂 Which is in fact my favourite country to visit and a place where I would love to live – given the ressources. So maybe one fine day you’ll find me in Kaiteriteri or on the Whanganui river again…
